Pop-up Mountain Company's piece explores the interfaces between urbanity and the provinces, queerness and tradition along the lines of the customs of the ‘Silversterchläuse’ of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It is a performative montage of the smallest objects in the largest format, monumental video art, nature yodelling and a heartbreaking, queer ‘coming of age’ story. (PREMIO 2025 Newcomer Award)
