The band Leander Albin plays melancholic indie pop with electronic elements – a sound that balances depth and lightness. What began as a solo project has grown into a fivepiece band: Aline Schoch (visuals, backing vocals), Etienne Isenschmidt (synthesizer, backing vocals), Heinz Kunz (drums), Lisa Mark (bass, backing vocals), and Leander Albin himself (vocals, bass clarinet, synthesizer). They create sonic spaces that give voice to in-between worlds — places of inner tension, longing, and social dilemmas. Their music invites listeners to immerse, pause, and reflect — poetic and powerful all at once. A central element is language: by singing in Romansh, they open doors to narratives and perspectives rarely heard – woven together with modern soundscapes, clear melodies, and electronic textures. Unusual instrumentation and Aline Schoch’s live-mixed visuals turn each performance into a deeply atmospheric experience.
